Do I have to have experience in archery to get involved?
No, we offer beginner and intermediate 8-week sessions of lessons 4 times a year. Please watch for the next intake to be posted or email us and we can reserve you a seat.
Do you do work/birthday parties?
Yes, but we ask that you email us first with a description of what you are looking for so we can decide if our facilty is a good fit for you. We reserve the right to decline.
What is a volunteer membership?
Volunteer membership is a membership discount for members expected to donate at least 12/hrs of work towards the club thoughout the year. During the year we have many opportunities to volunteer time such as setting up tournaments, attending open houses and making targets. Volunteer jobs can be created to fit your abilities.
Do you have tournaments?
Yes, we hold a few tournaments indoor and ourdoor during the year. A number of our members also travel to other club tournaments in the area
Is archery safe?
Yes, if you follow the rules. We take a lot of precautions to make sure participants are safe. Anyone who doesn't follow the safety rules will have their membership revoked and be asked to leave.
Do you have instructors?
Yes, we have a certified archery coach under Coach Canada that facilitates our lessons program. We also have club members that are certified instructors and are willing to provide advice to new members
How has COVID-19 effected the club?
Lessons are currently on hold, but the outdoor range is open (with some new protocol changes). Please see the outdoor range page for more information.
